Terms and Conditions

This is a translation of the original Terms and Conditions written in German. In case of any discrepancy between the German and English versions, the German version shall prevail.

I. Scope of the Terms and Conditions

  1. All customers entering into a membership or using our services are subject to these general terms and conditions (T&Cs).
  2. These T&Cs are based on Swiss law and are applicable both in Switzerland and abroad, provided they are expressly or implicitly recognized by both parties. Any changes must be agreed upon in writing by both parties.
  3. If any provision of this contract becomes invalid or if the contract contains a gap, the remaining provisions remain valid. The invalid provision will be replaced by one that most closely resembles its intent.

II. Contract Conclusion

  1. A contract is concluded when the customer accepts our offer or uses our products or services.
  2. Fees vary depending on the service or membership and are specified in the respective descriptions. They are always per individual.
  3. LeaderHive may decline requests or bookings.

III. Membership

  1. Membership grants the customer access to special offers such as the Toolbox, the AI-Coach, and events. Mentoring is billed separately.
  2. Membership fees can be paid monthly or annually.
  3. Full refunds are given for cancellations within 30 days; thereafter, no refunds are available.
  4. LeaderHive reserves the right to modify the membership offer at any time.

III. A) AI-Coach

  1. Scope of the AI-Coach: The AI-Coach is an artificial intelligence specially trained for leadership topics. Its main tasks include imparting knowledge, answering questions, and compiling individual training programs.
  2. Communication Channel: The primary channel of communication with the AI-Coach is through our web platform.
  3. Limitations of the AI-Coach: Due to the complex and multifaceted nature of certain leadership challenges, the AI-Coach may not always be able to provide conclusive or comprehensive solutions. Users should consider this when utilizing the AI-Coach.

III. B) Toolbox

  1. The Toolbox provides a variety of resources including templates, scripts, learning content, and specialized leadership tools.
  2. The content of the Toolbox is designed to offer practical support in various leadership situations.
  3. LeaderHive is committed to continuously adding new content to the Toolbox, ensuring users have access to up-to-date and effective resources.

III. C) Resources

  1. Scope of Resources: The Resources section includes a comprehensive collection of external tools, templates, scripts, and learning materials in various formats, such as podcasts, books, and blog posts.
  2. Objective: The content of these resources is designed to impart in-depth knowledge about various leadership situations and to provide users with practical tools for their development.
  3. Content Updates: LeaderHive is committed to continuously providing new content, ensuring that users always have access to the latest and most effective resources for their leadership development.

III. D) Online Event Execution

  1. Online events are conducted via video conference. Transcripts and video recordings are made available to all participants whenever possible. Participants consent to being recorded and transcribed.
  2. The organizer reserves the right to change coaches, instructors, and the course content.

Technical Requirements

  1. Participants are responsible for meeting the technical requirements needed to attend events, particularly internet access and a modern browser with microphone access.
  2. LeaderHive is not liable for any technical difficulties.

Event Cancellation, Postponement, and Interruption

  1. In case of instructor unavailability or other important reasons, the organizer reserves the right to postpone or cancel individual events or courses. Affected participants will be notified as soon as possible and offered alternatives if available.
  2. If the entire course offering cannot be continued, participants receive a prorated refund. For example, if paid annually in advance, the fees for the unused months will be refunded. Any additional claims are excluded.

IV. Mentoring

  1. Mentoring services are not included in the membership and are billed separately on a 15-minute basis.
  2. Mentoring sessions must be booked and confirmed in advance. Free cancellations are possible up to 48 hours before the scheduled session.
  3. LeaderHive is not liable for the implementation of strategies or advice provided during mentoring.
  4. All discussions and information shared during mentoring sessions are strictly confidential.

V. Liability

  1. Customers assume full responsibility for the information they share with LeaderHive and are explicitly responsible for not sharing any company-internal or sensitive information (e.g., non-anonymized personnel situations). LeaderHive is not liable for any damages incurred by participants or third parties in connection with shared information or in events.
  2. Information in the events is conveyed by the organizer or the instructors to the best of their knowledge and belief. The organizer is not liable for any errors in the information, materials, or data carriers.
  3. Customers apply the provided information and advice at their own risk. Neither the provider nor the involved experts are liable for any kind of damage that could result from the application or implementation of the provided information.
  4. Customers are responsible for the content of their discussion contributions in events and the community. LeaderHive, coaches, and instructors reserve the right to sort or adjust discussion contributions at their discretion. If discussion contributions violate applicable law, they will be deleted.

VI. Confidentiality and Data Protection

  1. Participants expressly commit to treating all received passwords and access data confidentially and to storing them in a manner inaccessible to third parties.
  2. LeaderHive commits to adhering to the principles of data protection laws, specifically not to disclose or sell data to third parties. LeaderHive stores details such as the residential or email addresses and websites of participants in order to provide information about further offers at a later date.
  3. Participants are obligated to securely store their password to prevent unauthorized third parties from gaining access to it.

VII. Copyright

  1. During events, both the participants and the organizer commit to adhering to the principles of copyright law.
  2. Reproduction of the learning materials and contributions from discussion forums is not permitted. The content may also not be disclosed to third parties.

VIII. Applicable Law / Jurisdiction

Swiss law is applicable. The venue for any legal disputes is the location where LeaderHive is headquartered.
